Four Bags Strip Away Color, Leaving Only Function

Montreal design studio JJJJound and Japanese bag brand PORTER have released four items—a key pack, drawstring bag, messenger bag, and backpack—under a single all-black design language. Rather than varying the colors, the collection standardizes materials and hardware, putting functionality for everyday routes such as commuting or cycling at the forefront.
All four products use waterproof-coated nylon ripstop reinforced with tarpaulin for structure, with a quilted nylon jacquard lining woven with the PORTER logo. The hardware is unified with premium metal name tags, buckles, and cord stoppers engraved with the JJJJound logo, while the backpack, messenger bag, and drawstring bag also feature Tyvek name tags. The lightest item, the key pack, weighs 120g and includes a detachable neck strap and built-in key ring.
The messenger bag is sized to fit A4 documents and adds expandability with a PALS webbing system and reflective cord, while the 19-liter backpack uses the same stretch cord to secure extra layers. The collection has been available since July 24 at PORTER stores across Asia and Yoshida’s official online store.

The Second Color MIKIMOTO Chose Is Gold

MIKIMOTO and Chrome Hearts have released the second drop of their collaborative jewelry. Unlike the first collection, which began with white gold and pearls, this release switches the entire material palette to 22K yellow gold, creating a warmer, more antique mood.
The lineup consists of five styles in total: a cross pendant necklace, a bracelet combining pearls and cross motifs, a safety pin brooch, and two different designs of drop earrings. At the center of the collection is the 22K gold cross pearl necklace, which pairs Chrome Hearts’ floral cross hardware with MIKIMOTO’s Akoya pearls and pavé diamonds.
All pieces are handmade and will be released in extremely limited quantities. The new Chrome MIKIMOTO collection is available only at Chrome Hearts flagship stores in Tokyo, London, and New York, and at MIKIMOTO’s Ginza Main Store.

Product Snap: Product Shots That Set the Color Standard from a Single Reference Photo
RealSnap’s Product Snap is a shooting method that makes the product itself the hero, without a model. Instead of online sellers or detail-shot teams at accessories brands having to book a studio and source props every time, they can choose a single reference image they like as a mood reference and use its background and color tone as the standard for the product shot.
Props in the reference photo are automatically recognized and can be immediately replaced with the desired material, reducing the preparation required to source and arrange each prop on set. By setting a color standard in advance with a color reference, it also cuts down the back-and-forth retouching needed to match the color of each result.

The system automatically recognizes the props in the selected reference photo and displays them as a list, and any props you do not like can be replaced directly with another image. Instead of sourcing and arranging props one by one on an actual shoot, you can select and change only the elements of the reference photo within the screen.

In the completed image, only the product is placed in the scene, without a model or separate shoot crew. The result is generated based on the colors and mood of the reference photo, making it possible to obtain product shots in the desired tone without setting up a new shoot set.
RealSnap Product Snap is especially useful for small sellers without large shoot budgets, or accessories brands whose materials and color variations change frequently each season. By uploading an existing product image and one desired mood photo, they can create product shots themselves, starting with a matched color standard.
