Massimo Dutti Jumps 8 Places, While Chanel Still No. 1
Massimo Dutti climbed eight places in just one quarter to reach No. 10. It is unusual for a brand outside the top tier to rise this much in the quarterly Lyst Index.
The results come from global shopping data platform Lyst, which analyzes the behavior of more than 160 million consumers annually by combining search, purchase and social mentions with AI-powered discovery channels. Massimo Dutti’s growth rate reached 43%, with exposure during the Cannes Film Festival serving as a direct catalyst. Chanel remained No. 1, supported by demand for its Coco Beach and Métiers d’Art 2026 collections, while Miu Miu rose to No. 2 with 30% growth.
Lyst explained that this quarter was defined not by brand hierarchy but by seasonality and sports culture. Celine rose five places to No. 15, while Phoebe Philo entered the ranking for the first time at No. 18. Searches for New York Knicks caps surged 4,276% year over year, showing the influence of sporting events on fashion demand.

"As Much for Footwear as Outerwear": Rains' New Challenge
A brand known for rainy-day outerwear has now expanded into footwear. Danish brand Rains globally launched its first in-house footwear line, Dry Boots and Mirage, on August 5. The shoes were developed for urban environments by combining waterproof functionality with the brand’s signature minimalist design.
This is not the first time Rains has released footwear. It has previously introduced collaborative shoes with Umbro, Zellerfeld and Vans. However, this is the first time the brand has formally built a footwear category under its own name. With footwear now added to a lineup that has already expanded into homeware, bags and ready-to-wear, Rains has taken another step from an outerwear specialist to a comprehensive lifestyle brand.
According to co-founder and CEO Daniel Brix Hesselager, development of the footwear line began in 2024. He said the goal is to become “a brand known for footwear as much as outerwear.”

Product Snap Keeps Brand Tone Consistent with Color References
RealSnap’s Product Snap is a feature that creates staged product-only shots without a model, and is mainly used by teams introducing new accessory products such as bags, jewelry and shoes. Instead of setting up a new studio, arranging props and scheduling another shoot, users can create product shots by specifying the desired background mood with a single reference image.
In particular, because color standards can be set with a color reference, it reduces the back-and-forth of matching the color tone of outputs one by one and retouching them again when handling products that come in multiple color variations each season.
