AI trend forecasting company Heuritech has identified warm brown tones and purple-tinged reds as central axes of fashion color for 2026. The company says it analyzes shifts in color, silhouette, print, and material up to 24 months in advance, based on social media image-recognition data.
Cinnamon, cited as a key color for January, is a shade of brown infused with red and amber tones. In the European womenswear category, color exposure rose 28% over the past month, while Cinnamon outerwear increased 32%. In the United States, it expanded into additional product groups, rising 16% in dress shoes.
Heuritech expects Cinnamon to grow 10% over the next 12 months and 20% year over year in the first quarter of 2026. Adjacent shades such as Chestnut Brown and Oak Brown are also forecast to grow 12% and 11%, respectively, in Q1 2026, suggesting that the segmentation of brown is emerging as a product-planning variable beyond a short-term trend.

Racer jackets and moto boots move into both streetwear and bohemian looks
Heuritech analyzed that racer fashion, which originated in motorsports, is expanding not only into streetwear but also into more feminine styling. In the United States, the #ferrarigirl and #racerjacket hashtags drew a combined more than 400,000 views over one month, and racer jackets were cited as key items worn with miniskirts or oversized pants.
The trend is not limited to jackets. Rugged boots, such as Miu Miu’s multi-strap biker boots, are being paired with ruffled blouses and fluid dresses to create the #MotoBoho style. The hashtag recorded 81,100 views on TikTok in January 2025.
The motorcore trend also continued in menswear. On the fall/winter 2025 runways, racing elements emphasizing check patterns, leather, zippers, and hardware were seen at Louis Vuitton, Y-3, MM6, Fear of God, and others. F1 The Movie, released in June 2025, was also cited as a catalyst that brought this style to the forefront of popular culture.
